MTK with Victory Bay Recovery - This is an onsite therapist position to work in an IOP mental health program in Clementon, NJ.
This individual will be working with both groups and individual sessions.
As a Therapist, you play a direct role in saving the lives of our patients each day by providing counseling services to your assigned clients including individual, family / group therapy sessions, and promoting an environment of long-term recovery.
Requirements Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field plus one year of clinical experience in a substance abuse or mental health setting.
Currently licensed/certified in one of the following:
LSW, LAC, LCSW, or LPC.
Strong interpersonal and engagement skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Conduct quality bio-psychosocial assessments Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients.
Educate patients on addiction and dual diagnosis to providing a clear understanding of how addiction symptoms often mirror mental health disorder symptoms.
Based on assessments and the compilation of clinical and collateral information gathered; refer patients to ancillary therapies.
Facilitate educational caseload groups Provide individualized therapy with each patient on your caseload.
Liaise with patient approved family members to develop and strengthen a healthy support system.
Complete documentation requirements maintaining quality, up-to-date clinical records.
Work collaboratively with all clinical, medical, and residential staff.
Maintain compliance with continuing education requirements.
