We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Sales Director to join our thriving packaging supply companyThe successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving our business growth and expansion strategiesThis position offers a unique opportunity to lead and manage our sales team while working closely with other departments to ensure we achieve our business objectivesThis role requires a strong leader with a strategic vision and a proven track record in sales and management in the packaging supply industry.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals and KPIs. Direct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals accordingly. Review and analyze sales performances against programs, quotes, and plans to determine effectiveness. Direct product research and development in alignment with customer needs. Represent company at trade association meetings to promote products and services. Meet with key clients to negotiate and close deals while maintaining and improving customer relationships. Coordinate liaison between sales department and other sales-related units. Analyze and control expenditures of the division to conform to budgetary requirements. Prepare periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion. Direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and distribution programs. Direct and coordinate activities involving sales of manufactured products, services, commodities, or other subjects of sale. Monitor customer preferences to determine the focus of sales efforts. Use customer feedback to generate ideas about new features or products. Develop pricing schedules and rates and monitor costs, competition, supply, and demand to identify selling prices. Estimate sales volume and profit for proposed sales. Plan and direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and distribution programs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field. 5
years of experience in sales and management within the packaging supply industry. Proven experience in eCommerce, HubSpot, Salesforce, KPI, and goal setting. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Strong analytical skills with a goal-oriented attitude. Proven ability to drive the sales process from start to finish. Proven ability to position products against competitors. Demonstrable experience as a head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated, and achievable solutions. Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
