Job Summary:
SGS Harrison Research Laboratory performs a full range of safety, efficacy and claim substantiation testing of cosmetics, toiletries and topically-applied pharmaceuticals on human subjects. The Lead Sunscreen Technician will perform in-vivo sunscreen testing in a clinical laboratory with healthy, paid panelistsPrimary Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and work with healthy, paid panelists
  • Apply products
  • Operation, maintenance and trouble-shooting of laboratory equipment and instruments
  • Collect and record data according to approved monographs and laboratory practices
  • Prepare and check data forms, tables, reports and other documents to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Schedule appointments for panelists
  • Prepare daily calendars
  • Perform other projects and tasks assigned by company and supervisors
Educational, Required Skills & Competencies:
  • LPN or RN license
  • Minimum of Laboratory Technician, Medical Technician or equivalent. Associates or Bachelor s Degree preferred or commensurate experience
  • Knowledge of basic laboratory techniques
  • Bilingual English and Spanish
  • Work hours are from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Flexible when needed.
  • Minimum of 3 years work experience
  • Ability to work with the public
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Work in team environment and maintain professional behavior
  • Effective communication, written and verbal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and flexibility

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
